Audit Dashboard Explained

Updated this week

The 'Audit' Dashboard is an alternative to the standard Dashboard - you can flick between either of these using the button in the top right.

The Audit version provides more explanation of the different sections and data, and presents them in a slightly different format. This helps you get up to speed with the platform more quickly and provides a more 'audit' view of the data when you filter the selection.

When should I use the Audit Version instead of the standard Dashboard?

That might come down to personal preference, but there are two main reasons using the Audit version may be better than the standard Dashboard:

  1. New user looking to get up to speed quickly.

    1. We've built the Audit version with more explanation, so new users can better understand the platform and the more stripped-back standard Dashboard.

  2. Generate an audit for a specific segment.

    1. Using filters to segment the data to a single client or team, you can generate a descriptive audit of that segment's performance. You could take a screenshot for reporting, or use it as information to help win a new client.

The Header

The header shares the filters as per every page within Adpulse, plus on the right-hand side, the button to flick between the standard Dashboard and this Audit view.

The Insights Section

The Insight section provides more detail, explaining the four main sections and grouping Insights by type.

You can click through to each category or a specific Insight type.

Budget Performance

This is a summary of the Scatter plot-based Budget Performance chart on the standard Dashboard, and provides more explanation of what each quadrant means.

Clicking on a section will bring up a list of the budgets within that section, and you can then click through to a specific budget.

Top 5 Performance Optimizations

This is the same as the version on the Dashboard, but simplifies things by only showing the Top 5.

Close Variants

Similar to the Top 5, this highlights the Campaigns ordered by the greatest variance in CPA (Close Variants vs True Match)

  • Greatest = The CPA for Close Variants is greater than the True Match, sorted by the highest %

This is also on the standard Dashboard.
