Introduction

This article is to help you find your way around the various alert types generated by Adpulse and displayed on the Alerts Dashboard.

The Alert Dashboard displays the output of the Alert, not the Alert configuration, ie. the Alert Output = Ad Account spending greater than 90%, whereas the Alert configuration is 'Send alerts to X account when spend threshold is greater than 90%'. Read more on how to configure Custom Budget Alerts

There are the following Alert types:

  • Budget Alerts

  • Insight Alerts

  • Admin Alerts

Plus, there are a couple of states of the Alerts:

  • Current

    • All Alerts that display under Budget Alerts, Insight Alerts, and Admin Alerts

  • Resolved

    • Some Alerts automatically resolve, ie. are not longer applicable

  • Archived

    • Users can manually archive Alerts to remove them from the list.

There are tabs for all of the above on the Alerts Dashboard.

Alerts Types Explained

Budget Alerts

These are the Budget Spend and Budget Pacing Alerts generated by a Custom Budget Alert.

They will appear in the Budget Alerts tab until:

  1. They 'Resolve', ie. the Budget Alert state is no longer accurate, ie. Alert was for a Budget at greater than 90% spend, but when checked again it had gone under that threshold - therefore it has been resolved.

  2. They are 'Archived' - this is done manually and will need to be applied to some Budget Alerts that don't Resolve.

Insight Alerts

This tab lists the Email notifications that have been sent to the users within the Adpulse Account. These can be set up at Settings > Notifications.

Some Insight Alerts do not Resolve and therefore need to be manually archived once reviewed.

Admin Alerts

Admin Alerts are system-generated Alerts that relate to Account inaccessibility and credential issues.

Admin Alerts do not Resolve and therefore need to be manually archived once reviewed.

Alerts Statuses Explained

Current

    • All Alerts that display under Budget Alerts, Insight Alerts, and Admin Alerts

Resolved

    • Some Alerts automatically resolve when the Budget Alert state is no longer accurate, ie. Alert was for a Budget at greater than 90% spend, but when checked again it had gone under that threshold - therefore it has been resolved.

Archived

    • Users can manually archive Alerts to remove them from the list.
