Devices Performance Dashboard Explained

Introduction

One of the fastest ways to improve the performance of a campaign is to increase or decrease bids on specific devices. Analyzing each campaign and applying device bid adjustments one at a time is a valuable but very laborious and time-consuming task.

This is where Adpulse does what the Ad platforms don't - we analyze performance for each device across every campaign and every account. We then categorize and display them based on performance, meaning you can quickly see which devices would benefit from a bid adjustment. You can even process them in bulk across multiple campaigns at once, resulting in lightning-fast, high-value optimizations.

The actions you can apply within Adpulse are;

Only Campaign Types and Bid Strategies that allow a Device level Bid Adjustment will be displayed in the Devices Performance Dashboard

How the Devices Performance Dashboard Works

The Devices Performance Dashboard works similarly to the other Performance Pages, where we have pre-categorized your Devices into helpful buckets, so you can review and action them quicker. The red ones look like they need attention or are wasting money, the yellow ones are average performers and the green ones are doing great!

The Categories

Category

Description

Good Performance

Your best-performing devices - you may be able to add a bid modifier to increase bids or specifically target these devices in a separate campaign with higher bids and budget

Average Performance

Devices that perform in line with your campaign averages show up here.

Poor Performance

These devices seem to be performing much worse than the campaign average. Could be time to reduce the bid modifier?

Low Data

These devices have only a few conversions and not a lot of spend, so we can't categorize them yet.

High Spend

High spenders that are not converting. Great candidates for a -100% bid modifier

Average Spend

Moderately spending devices that haven't spent too much since their last conversion but also haven't converted yet, so they are just sitting here and waiting to get enough data to be categorized as either good or bad.

Low Spend

Small spending devices that have not yet converted (last 30 days) - not much to do on these yet.

No Clicks

Devices with impressions but no clicks in the last 30 days

Hidden

List of devices that have been snoozed or hidden
