Google Sheets Extension - How to export data and schedule refreshes

This article assumes you have installed the Google Sheets extension and connected it to your Adpulse account. If you have not yet done then, then read "Google Sheets Extension - How to set it up" first to get it up and running

Overview

Adpulse offers a Google Sheets extension that enables easy data export into a Google Sheet. This export can then be refreshed according to a schedule.

This article covers how to create a query and a schedule to export the data from Adpulse.

The Extension was updated on November 3rd, 2025. This article has the updates feature set


How to export data using the available filters

1. When you open the extension initially, you'll see two sections:

  • Schedules: Create a recurring schedule that refreshes the data

    • There is one Schedule per Google Sheet

  • Queries: Create a query to export data from Adpulse

    • You can create multiple tabs, each with its own query

Creating a query

1. Click Manage Queries

2. Click Add Query

3. Select from the available options to generate a query

Select a date range for your data. The options reflect the Report Type chosen

Filter for a specific ad platform (optional)

Your imported ad accounts

Filter for a specific ad account (optional)

Tags

Your tags in Adpulse

Filter for a specific tag (optional)

Sheet name

Free test

Enter the name you want to give this tab of data

4. Click Save & Run now to populate the tab with the selected data

5. You can now create another query for another tab, or click back

Add a Schedule

You can get the data to automatically refresh on a schedule you decide, this could be daily, weekly, monthly, etc

1. From the first page, click Add Schedule

2. Choose a schedule.

3. Click Create Schedule

The data generated by your queries will be refreshed according to the schedule you set. Note: You can only have one schedule per Google Sheet

Editing Queries and Schedules

You can return to the sheet at any point and edit your schedules and queries.
