Receive Alert and Insight notifications via email
Adpulse can notify you when an Alert or Optimization is raised, by email or to a messaging platform such as Slack or Teams. You choose what you are notified about by severity: Critical, Important, Opportunity, or Hygiene.
For each severity, you choose whether to subscribe, which accounts it covers, who receives it, and how often. For example, you might want a Real-time notification for every Critical item, and a Weekly digest of Opportunities.
Where to find your notification settings
Each severity has its own section with a Subscribed toggle and a Notify control:
Subscribed: turn this on to be notified about that severity, or off to receive nothing.
Notify: open it to set routing rules, which choose which accounts trigger the notification and where each one is sent.
Frequency: Real-time, Daily digest, or Weekly digest.
Real-time sends a notification as each Alert or Optimization is raised. A digest collects them into one message, each day or each week.
The default
By default, Critical is subscribed to a Daily digest, sent to the users tagged to each ad account. Important, Opportunity, and Hygiene are not subscribed. You can change any of these at any time.
Users receive notifications for the ad accounts they are tagged to. Read how to assign users and tags to ad accounts.
Choose who is notified
Each severity has one or more routing rules. A rule chooses which accounts trigger the notification and where each matching event is sent.

Applies to
All accounts: the rule covers every ad account.
Filtered accounts: narrow the rule by tag, by platform (eg., Google, ChatGPT, etc.), or by choosing specific ad accounts. The matching accounts are listed below the filters.
Notify
Users tagged to matching accounts: the default. Adpulse works out who to notify when the Alert or Optimization is raised.
Specific users: also notify the Adpulse users you choose.
Integrations: send to email, Slack, Teams, or webhook destinations.
You can add more than one rule to a severity. For example, one rule for your Google accounts and another for clients tagged Tier 1. Click Apply to save your rules.
Send notifications to Slack, Teams, or another platform
Choose Integrations in a rule to send notifications to email, Slack, Teams, or webhook destinations. An integration has to be set up before you can choose it, so add the destination as a Messaging/CRM integration first.
Change the severity of an Alert or Optimization
Open a severity section to see the Alerts and Optimizations in it. Each one has a severity dropdown, so you can move it to a different severity.
Changing the severity moves it into a different section. That changes where it appears in My Day and Alerts, and which Notify settings apply to it.
Note: Alerts can only be Critical or Important
Turn an Alert or Optimization off
You can disable an Alert entirely, meaning it will not run for any ad account. You can do this by clicking on the severity and selecting Disable
Alerts and Optimizations that are switched off appear under Disabled. Use the same functionality to enable it again.
Your notification emails
Daily digests are sent between 6 am and 8 am in your organization's time zone. Weekly digests use the same format and are sent on Mondays between 6 am and 8 am.
A digest only includes the severities you are subscribed to. For each one, it shows the number of open Alerts and Optimizations, grouped by type, such as system-generated budget alerts, manually created budget alerts, Admin Alerts, and Optimizations.
At the bottom, a summary shows the total number of open Alerts and Optimizations across your accounts, with a count for each severity. Use See all your alerts and optimizations to open them in Adpulse, or Manage notification settings to change what you receive.
